The World War II veterans were honored this year - 60 years. Those in the truck were riding in the parade. There were quite a few who showed up for this.
The couple sitting with us at the table were Gilles and Debbie Deziel (Thank you, Debbie, for sharing the preceding pictures with us). He is an RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) and she is his wife. We met them last year and were so happy to see them again this year. In a crowd of 60,000+, it's hard to find anybody. We were tickled when they spotted Dad. What fun people to share this event with.
