2008 Update:
This past year has been rather busy for me. Hard to imagine that I was in California a year ago and since have been on assignment to Fredericksburg VA, Milford De and Bel Air MD. Not too far apart in distance but so very diverse in attitude and size of hospital. It always amazes me how differently the same things can be done. In addition to my assignments, I have also done some travel for pleasure. Late February, Mom, Dad, Donna and I went to Oahu for a few days. Hawaii was all I had imagined and more. Lush, exotic and enchanting! And just about 80 degrees every day we were there. Definitely a place to visit again. June arrived and I was off on a 7 day cruise to the Western Carribean. Steve, once again thanks for letting me go along with you. It was a trip to remember. The grandiose decor, incredily blue water, food to die for and a friend with whom to share it. After I returned from the cruise my son, Christopher became engaged to his girlfriend Darlene! Everyone had been anxiously waiting for him to pop the question. Darlene is a very special young lady. One that the family adopted on sight. A wedding is planned for October 18th 2008. July was amazing. Dave O'Brien had planned a "little" reunion at Rehoboth Beach, which exploded into an extravaganza. There were people everywhere from Dover area schools. It ended up being hundreds instead of the bunch we expected. Hopefully, it will happen again next year. I, for one, will keep my calendar open! The next few months were quiet with walks on the beach and visits from family. Oh yea, I did work every week. (They make me.) October was the Gathering of the MacGregors. And we were there in force with Mom, Dad, Donna, Carla and I all attending. It is always good to see friends and spend time with them. We went to Valley Forge this year. Well, I had a few days off in December and couldnt figure out what to do with them. So I ended up in Key West! It was warm and fun. I did the tourist thing there to the max. I could probably live there. But mom says it is too far from NY and they are really strict about baggage to and from. Everyone is well. Mom and Dad are still in Ohio NY. Raising horses, shoveling snow and enjoying their home and family. Donna, Chuck and Carla are all nearby. Keeping everything busy. Joanne and family remain in GA. And we miss seeing them as often as we would like. My kids??? Well, Lavinia continues to do well at Bank of America. She has been there over 5 years now. Christopher is also at Bank of America and keeps moving up from department to department. And as I already mentioned is engaged to be married to a wonderful young lady. Shane, Becky, Gabby and Aidan are doing well. Looks like Shane will work all winter, which is great. Gabby is in first grade and Aidan is nearly three and growing so fast. Shannon is doing well. Working for Bank of America. I am so proud of each of them as I watch them make their way in the world. Working, thriving and being a part of their community. What more could I ask for??? Hope this finds you and yours safe, warm and happy. With all blessings,
Debbi Worry looks around. Sorry looks back. Faith looks up.
